THERE’S A VERY GOOD REASON WHY WE ONLY USE TWO COLOURS...

Red Means Stop. Green Means Go. It’s That Simple.

Why We Only Use Red and Green.

At Stop’N’Go, we don’t believe in grey areas when it comes to safety. That’s why our gloves are designed in two colours—and two colours only.

When you're guiding a reversing vehicle, every second counts and so there is no time for the hesitation of an orange light.

That’s why our gloves use the most universally recognised safety code on the planet: red for stop, green for go.

This colour system has been trusted for over 150 years—traffic lights, railways, aviation, shipping, and industrial controls. It works because it’s instantly understood by everyone, everywhere.

  • Red commands attention. It means danger. It means stop now!
  • Green gives the all-clear. It tells drivers: it’s safe to move.

We didn’t invent this system, we simply built it into the PPE workers use and rely on every day. It’s such a simple thing to do, but out there in the real world, it’s been proven to work time and time again.

Visual communication is key

We cannot emphasis this enough. Our gloves are not just PPE—they’re signals. Visual commands, worn on the hands of banksmen, reversing assistants, and site workers

  • Red palms clearly say: STOP
  • Green backs say: GO

No noise. No language barrier. No miscommunication. Just two clear, visible commands from hand to driver—Always in control.

When it comes to the colours of red and green. It’s a visual language your eyes understand before your brain has time to think. That kind of reaction? That’s what keeps people safe.

Clarity Saves Lives. And That’s Why We Only Use Red and Green.
