Product Development Process

At Stop'N'Go we know the importance of innovation and staying relevant in the marketplace.  We also know that developing and introducing products is a great way of continuing to offer value to our distributors, and of growing the importance and relevance of the Stop'N'Go brand in the safety market.

That’s why we have set up dedicated resources and systems to make continuous product development a central part of our operation as a manufacturer and provider of safety solutions.

Our Business Manager, Victoria Vaughan, is responsible for staying in touch with both our end-users and distributors and help with their needs and requirements as they emerge. This means she’s in the perfect position to know what developments will bring the most value to our community of users and distributors.

She keeps a record of all the ideas and requests that we get from both existing users and organisations trialling or evaluating Stop'N'Go.

These are reviewed on a quarterly basis by Victoria with Obe Nunn (Marketing Manager) and Roy Wells (Managing Director) and a decision is made on what projects to action immediately and which to schedule for future action.

One idea we decided to action immediately is the development of an EXTREME cut-resistant liner glove. Based on the original GO-X D PALM glove, this latest development will provide cut resistance rated to level “F”, the highest accreditation any glove can get under EN388. It will also have enhanced puncture resistance and will be the perfect glove to provide complete protection in the most hazardous of workplaces or roles.

Following this review Roy liaises directly with our extensive network of manufacturing plants and supply partners to develop the product and secure initial development samples.

Once we have approved these samples, we secure trial samples.

At this point we get in touch with the client who originally gave us the idea. Once the client has approved the model we have developed, we start the process of rolling the new product out to relevant customers and introducing it to our core range.

At each review stage we ensure that we carry out thorough tests and workplace trials. We place utmost importance on ensuring that all our products are a good fit for our customers workplaces in real life.
